Sunday Afternoon Musings...An Update♥

Two beautiful sisters...  Sofia and Rebekah... ♥

I am sitting snuggled beneath a fluffy blanket, listening to the rain falling steadily on the rood and gazing at the wild ocean which I have a magnificent view of from my window.
I am so thankful to finally have some time to rest...time to simply sit and sip a cup of coffee...time to sit on the swing on the porch and idly sway back and forth, enjoying peace for the first time in over a month.  I can feel myself unwinding...as the tension lifts, so the tiredness sets in and the tears flow.  But this is all part of the process, and I am thankful to have somewhere beautiful and quiet to stay for the time being...the Lord is so good.

On Friday our family moved an hour away from Sedgefield to a quiet town beside the sea...we are staying in a holiday house, kindly offered to us by a very generous lady whom we have never even met.  Such a beautiful testimony of God' goodness and grace!
We can stay here till September if  need be, but we are earnestly praying for a long-term rental house to come available by August as it will be truly wonderful to settle down again...

The Lord has already provided so much for our new home... He has moved on the hearts of so many people and provided so much of what we will need!  And the blessings continue to flow in...we are astounded and humbled.  The Lord truly cares...He is a loving God who holds us in the palm of His mighty hand.

He has shown us yet again that nothing can separate us from the love of Christ...and that HE works everything out for our good.

While on Pinterest earlier to respond to a message there, I came across this beautiful quote...

I have honestly not had one moment of anger towards the Lord in this trial...my heart may be heavy and filled with pain, but the Lord is my source of comfort and hope and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that He is close and that He is walking through this with me...
He is the only One who can give us the strength and power to walk through the valley, so how can I possibly be down, discouraged and defeated?

We are still smiling...of course we have shed many tears, but the Father has given us unspeakable joy and I rejoice at this incredible opportunity to tell the world of God's wonderful love, grace and power!  To Him be all the glory...

Thank you for your continued love and support, dear friends...  ♥ I am slowly but surely responding to the beautiful emails I have received since the event of the fire.  I am so blessed by the love shown to our family from those we do not even know us!  You all are so precious...  Thank you for your words of comfort and love!

With joy in my heart,
Kelly-Anne♥

SO thankful to hear that you have a home to stay in for a few months! Thank you Lord! And that it is by the sea as well, what a relaxing place for your family to be, to enjoy the waves, and the view, and indeed, even as the Lord has provided for you each step of the way, I know He is able to keep you the rest of the way, until you have a safe place to call home again! So thankful for the outpouring of love throughout this trial, and your family is continually in our prayers! Appreciate you and your heart for the Lord, truly He has great things in store for all of you, and I believe that quote with all my heart. Sometimes God has to upset our "apple cart" so to speak, to bring new and wonderful things into our lives. I believe this for your family! With hugs and love dear friend!

Thanks for the update. Praying the Lord will continue to provide for you. <3 That quote is so true. It is something I have often said to myself and others in the past year after a difficult situation our family went through. It is exciting to see what the Lord has for you! Much love to you and your family.

Hello Kelly-Anne! I have left comments on your last two updates and I'm afraid they didn't post. What adorable photos two of your precious sisters! It is such an encouragement to read this latest update...and how wonderful that the Lord has placed you by the sea, even if for a sort time...no better place to rest and feel God's peace in my way of thinking! Ah yes, that quote...I saw it myself on facebook just yesterday and it spoke to my heart as well...the Lord always knows best what it is His children need, even when we can't see it at the time. It is just wonderful to hear the ways the Lord is working during this time of upheaval in your life. I am continuing to remember you and your family in my prayers, sweet friend and I am looking forward to your next update. Much love and prayers to you and your family! ♥♥♥

He is indeed our healer and our provider. Praising the Lord for his continuance provision for your family. I read something recently that said, "We may not always understand God's logic but we must trust His widsom". So very true. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

I really needed that quote today! Thank you for sharing it and for letting us know how you and your family are doing. We have been so concerned, and it just warms my heart to know that you are safe in a beautiful home. Jesus taught us to live one day at a time, and He is surely providing your daily needs. He will continue to do that all the days of your life. What a comfort it is to know that His eye is on the sparrow, and He is watching over you and your dear family! Enjoy your time by the sea! You have been through so much...your dear hearts need time to mend and be made whole by the hands of our loving Lord. Sending much love to you, sweet friend. :)

Take care, my friend.

Oh my goodness Kelly Anne...I have missed so many posts and came here tonight to catch up and I was heartsick reading your posts about the fire. I went backwards to catch up on the series of events that led to the destruction of your beautiful home and though it is devastating, I am so relieved you evacuated in plenty of time and got out of harms way. I will be keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I'm a firm believer in "if he brings you to it, he'll bring you through it." Praying for a permanent place to call home....in the meantime, take care, try to rest and process it all (though it must be so difficult) I believe it is all in good hands. Sending love and hugs to you, Linda
